Ace watched as Jacob lifted his head to say that he was grinning at her. He went on to describe that this was because of her being quite adorable. She glared at him in response, her eyes narrowing. She let out a sigh of agitation.
"Look." She started, "I know you don't get this yet, but I just hope you're a fast learner. Don't say shit like that to me, got it, ass?" She crossed her arms and gripped the sides of the material of her shirt as she said this, withholding the need to hit something. She didn't like the way he was still smiling, it was like he was still calling her that.
"Get a place, Find a teacher, Get them to tell you." She said simply, still annoyed at him. "It's what I did." She started to pack away her cigarette box and all else in order to make her way back to her room for an afternoon of poker against herself and listening to old CDs.
Before she would start to walk away however, she went back up to the counter to grab a muffin for the road. She hated that she had to actually walk up to him before she walked away. It was infuriating, but damnit those muffins were fantastic.

Jacob inclined his head, his smile dimming. "I apologize for offending you." he said, as he stepped aside to give her space. "Thank you for joining me this morning - even though I seem to have a remarkable talent for blundering."
Other than that, he kept his mouth shut as he cleaned up the rest of the things he'd used to produce the muffins, setting the kitchen to order again.

Ace grabbed a muffin quickly, glanced over to him, and dug her teeth into the baked good. This was in direct response to his apology and thank you. Then, she turned and walked away chewing, her goodbye being a hand raised in the air as she went, not turned back to direct the gesture at him in particular.
She went in the direction back to her dorm. It was only on the way there that she realized she didn't have a CD player. All she supposed she had left was a bottle of booze, her 3 cigarettes, and her playing cards. Then, after thinking about this for a moment, she realized it still sounded like an alright night.
