The north beach of Soto Island has very calm waters and about a mile of shallow waters that does not exceed three and a half feet before you would reach a near vertical drop into deep waters.

The outside of the Solstice Academy has been landscaped with many tropical plants. However, the plants near the building are the only ones for about 2 miles. The rest is bare grass, perfect for honing skills.

These class rooms are quite large for instruction and demonstration purposes.

In a school full of people with powers it is inevitable for someone to get hurt. So, just like every other school in history this one has its own infirmary. This one, however, is better stocked than most school nurses offices, as it is a long trip to the nearest hospital, and some of the students doubtlessly had special needs.

The student dorms. Though it is not a common practice in most schools, it is permitted to have co-ed roommates. Two beds are provided in each room and if agreed upon, two people can inhabit the room.

Think of them like the Teacher's dorm rooms. It's also where the Staff Room is, where the teachers go to interact with one another and prepare themselves for classes.

Just south of the academy there is a man-made forest with trees found in temperate climates, though they seem to strive. In the middle of the forest is a fresh water pond, which is inhabitable for Leats.
