Gabrielle led the way to Dorm 7, taking the small key from her necklace and unlocking the door. She opened the door to reveal the standard dorm room.
It was a pale blue room with a black carpet and two beds, one on each side of the room, both having a bedside table. Between the beds, shoved against the wall, was a desk. There was a door to the en suite in the righthand corner and a wardrobe in the left.
There were two suitcases in the middle of the floor. Gabrielle picked them up and put them on the left bed, along with the cases she was carrying. She sighed with relief and turned to the others.
"Well, welcome in."

Silas && Kinkade and everybody's on your mind saying anything to get you by "Mm, doesn't seem to concern you. But I'm flattered by your interest. Hopefully the curiosity doesn't tear you up.
"Silas retorted, his gaze on Kaze as he spoke. He could be sarcastic too, and he was out to prove it. But his words were half-hearted; he didn't care nearly as much as he thought he would. " Ha, first to see your new dorm!"Kinkade announced as he pushed Silas in, hurry him along into the room. Once they'd made it through the threshold and several steps in, Kinkade moved to his side. The room was bare, of course. It would be interesting to see how she changed it, if she invited them inside again. " Hopefully you're roommate's nice."Kinkade suddenly mused, his tone still strikingly happy as usual.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

"Well, why don't you go do that now?" she suggested. "I want to just put a few things away before we go on whatever epic adventure I'm sure Silas is planning. It shouldn't take too long, especially if Silas and Kinkade help me." she said, looking over at the two meaningfully. She didn't show it, but it would be obvious to Kinkade that she wanted Kaze to go away for a while.
"Don't worry, we'll be here when you get back."

Gabrielle waited until she was completely sure he was gone, then clasped her hands togetehr in prayer, turned her eyes to Heaven and declared "Thank God."
Ooc: Sorry it's so short. >_<

Silas && Kinkade and everybody's on your mind saying anything to get you by Oh. Damn. Silas was supposed to be planning something? Why didn't someone make that clear to him before? Wait, that was familiar, wasn't it? An adventure. Right. Kinkade's fault, of course. Silas had absolutely no idea what he was going to suggest yet, but fortunately she didn't ask him yet so he had time to plan still.
"Of course we'll help,
"Silas agreed with ease. It was a bit odd, the idea of going through her stuff, but whatever. It wouldn't kill any of them and he'd try not to blush- but he probably wouldn't succeed. Kinkade met her gaze, his expression one of confusion. he understood it because, well, a person's emotion went a lot farther than simple words or even expressions. But he had no idea what he was supposed to say now, so he simply didn't say anything at all. " I'm staying conveniently off the boss radar."Silas murmured casually, trying to fill the silence with something.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Gabrielle stretched her arms then went over and shut the door. She locked it automatically, then remembered she had company and unlocked it again. She turned to the two guys, her back against the door, and made a face.
"Oh Gabrielle, I like you for who you are." she said in a sugary saccharine voice then grimaced. "Please tell me I wasn't the only one sickened by that."

Silas && Kinkade and everybody's on your mind saying anything to get you by "Now now. He was just being nice. No need to deny your undying devotion to him. In fact, I'm sure he'll frequent your dreams for many nights to come. Thoughts of what your wedding will look like, and what your kids'll be named.
"Silas teased. Wisely, he stayed by Kinkade. She wouldn't hit Kins, would she? He was too nice. So he'd keep Kinkade in reaching distance as a shield just in case. " He does like you. Sly does, too. Maybe he was just jealous."Kinkade pitched, though the conversation was a bit uncomfortable for him. He wasn't mean by nature; this was odd ground. He was sort of lying, though. If he had reason to believe Kaze was jealous, he would have sensed the emotion. Instead he was saying maybe; he made it up.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Gabrielle clasped her hands together, an expression of dreamy love on her face.
"Oh, how my heart aches for him." she drawled. "Why can I not simply accept this passion I feel and embrace my true lo-oh fuck that, I can't keep that up any longer. If I have a dream where I'm not kneeing him in the crotch repeatedly, then I'll hang myself out of the window tomorrow."
She walked over to the bed, flipping open the catch on one of the suitcases and pulling a neat stack of clothes out of it. She paused, then grinned and turned to them.
"If he liked me at first, he won't now." she said with some satisfaction.

Silas && Kinkade and everybody's on your mind saying anything to get you by "That I wouldn't mind seeing.
"Silas murmured, grinning at her previous false display of devotion. Okay, he had to hand it to her, she was funny. Silas glanced at her stuff as she retrieved it from her bag and began putting it away, but he couldn't bring himself to actually ask her if she needed help or to just start helping. His cheeks were turning a light shade of pink just thinking about it. He shook his head, watching her now. Don't think about it, don't think about it... No purple elephants. " Sly didn't say so before, but his power's dream manipulation. He doesn't sleep, and he can enter your dreams and control things inside of them. He can change things- like buildings, and even people and monsters."Kinkade offered helpfully, since Silas didn't seemed inclined to say so himself. Silas turned his attention to Kinkade, his look clearly asking, 'what the hell did you tell her that for?'. Kinkade shrugged innocently, which seemed only to annoy Silas further.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

What Gabrielle was putting away looked to be the more personal items of clothing, undergarments and such. She seemed to be a fan of old fashioned stockings, the kind held up with a garter belt.
"Put the violin under the bed for me, will you? And there's a sword in the largest suitcase, if you could get it out. Don't worry about cutting yourself, it's in a display case."
She looked over he shoulder at Silas. "Well, I guess I had better look out for any suspicious prettyboys in my dreams then, hadn't I?"

Silas && Kinkade and everybody's on your mind saying anything to get you by Oh. Great. When Silas noticed what she was holding, his cheeks did brighten. Kinkade seemed oblivious, hardly phased by it, but Silas was left to bury his face in Kinkade's shirt to hide. Oh, yes, because that was definitely the best way to handle the situation. When Gabrielle began issuing orders; two, so presumably one for each of them- Kinkade moved to do as she asked. He went straight for the violin case, leaving the still blushing Silas with the sword.
"Why... why in the world do you have a sword?
"Silas prompted, turning his back to Gabrielle as he opened the larger suitcase for the mentioned sword. To her next statement, his blush only got brighter. Yeah, something like that. " Like I'd spend my time in your dreams- don't flatter yourself. That's just asking for trouble."Silas retorted coolly. It didn't match his blush or his nervousness at all, which was exactly why Kinkade glanced up at him, staring curiously. What was his problem, anyway? After a few seconds it didn't seem like he'd get an answer, so Kinkade turned back to Gabrielle. " What next?"Kinkade questioned.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Gabrielle walked over to Silas and took the display case off of him, sliding back the glass panel and taking out the sword gently. She held it up, over the bed and away from the two guys, turning it so the blade caught the light and gleamed silver. It was a make of sword known as a schiavona, and clearly a well made one. the elaborate basket hilt was done in such a way that it resembled a wing and it had fine filigree on it.
"It's a family heirloom." she said, looking at the sword fondly, as if with a an old friend she still liked. "The Viaris have never had much money until recently, but we always have beautiful weapons." She paused. "Actually, the two things are likely related."
She put the sword back in the case and passed it back to Silas.
"On the shelf above the bed, if you would. Pixie, if you could help put away the rest of these clothes? Don't mind the small suitcase, it's just posters and things. I'll put them up later."
She gave Silas a smile. "Oh, and trust me, Silas, you're hardly the kind of person I dream about."

Silas && Kinkade and everybody's on your mind saying anything to get you by Silas froze when she appeared at his side. He hadn't heard her coming, for whatever reason, so to see her suddenly there was a jolt. He stayed perfectly still as she took the case from him- hey, shouldn't he be bothered?- and, much to his surprise, took the sword out. It was definitely a remarkable sword. Well crafted, obviously, and if the case was any indication, well cared for. When she explained that it was a family heirloom, he sort of smiled. So it had meaning, huh? Wasn't just a toy? Oddly, that was admirable. Sort of.
"Mhm,
"Silas agreed, taking the case back before climbing onto the bed to reach the shelf she indicated. There. Mission accomplished. He looked back just in time to see that Kinkade had begun to pull out some of the articles from the suitcase, placing them in the drawers that seemed to contain similar articles. It wasn't a hard task by any means. At least he wasn't tasked with it. He got off the bed, turning his attention to Gabrielle. Her response to him was met with a look of disaproval; that was not nice. " Well. Likewise."Came Silas' easy reply, as if her words hadn't bothered him at all. Kinkade suddenly chuckled from the dresser, which, without a single word from the blond, earned him a glare from Silas. Figuring he was already being glared at, he went on to explain. " Silas doesn't sleep. He doesn't dream of anyone."Kinkade informed her knowingly. It was true, and he personally felt she should know it, even if Silas didn't feel the same way. It wasn't fair for Silas to lie like that, to make her think he was being mean.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

"Is that so? Well, I do, and I can tell you now, I never dream of anything or anyone half as pleasant looking." she said with a laugh. She picked up some more clothes and packed them well, though she did leave a pair of black trousers and grey sock on the bed.
"So, have you decided where we're going, or am I going to absolutely ruin my so-called reputation by having two boys in my room all night?"

Silas && Kinkade and everybody's on your mind saying anything to get you by What was that? Could it possibly be a compliment? Silas could hardly believe it. Was she serious? Whether she was or not, Silas cheered up almost instantly, now grinning again.
"Huh. On second thought, maybe it'd be time well spent in your dream.
"Silas corrected. And he meant it; he would actually like to see what she came up with, the world she fabricated when she had control of every aspect of it. Would it be frightening? Exciting? Happy? Sad? There was really only one way to find out. And if he got the chance, he'd take it. " I don't know yet. But no one'd have to know we were in here. Coed dorms, anyway, so they can't hold anything against you."Silas shrugged. There weren't a ton of options here, unfortunately. And he had a hard time thinking about anything other than her, so his ideas for potential adventures weren't exactly flowing freely now. Worse yet, even if he did think of something, he was a bit anxious that she'd find the idea silly. It was hard not trying to think of something childish and obviously entertaining as he was inclined for Kinkade's benefit.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

"You seem very confident that I'd let you into my dreams, prettyboy." Gabrielle laughed, picking up the trousers and socks from the bed and putting them over her arm.
"If I may suggest anything, there does seem to be a cafe or something around here. Not exactly an epic adventure, but a chocolatey treasure is not something to be mocked."

"Well it isn't really optional. You can't really kick me out. Anyway. You wouldn't want to once I was there, and you would let me in, I'm sure. Now that'd be the real adventure.
"Silas replied. People's dreams were always full of surprises, and the leaps in logic a person's mind made- it was always so odd to think clearly, but to be a part of a dream that so rapidly shifted. Then again, it made it enjoyable, so he never complained. " Yeah, there is! We know the way. Come on," And off the sunny blond went to the door, opening it for the pair of them.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Gabrielle shook her head at Silas and gave him a small smile.
"Silas, in all seriousness, you wouldn't like to see inside my head. It's rarely a pleasant place to be, even for myself. Why ruin a possible friendship so quickly? I don't mean to sound like one of those 'Oh, you cannot understand the darkness inside me blaaah' types, but I just don't think you'd find it pleasant. And -oh, wait for us, Pixie!"
Gabrielle looked down at the clothes she was already wearing, then shrugged. She had hoped to change before leaving, but the demure sweater and skirt combo seemed suitable for a trip to a café. She dropped the clothes on the bed and went out after Kinkade.

Silas && Kinkade and everybody's on your mind saying anything to get you by As she was likely to realize soon, Kinkade was far too excitable to be patient. He rarely thought things through, and he never seemed to slow down. This was very different than Silas who let the blond leave without seeming to spare a glance in his direction. He stayed focused on Gabrielle. Her words lingered in his mind, troubling him simply because it wasn't as cheerful as he anticipated.
Silas didn't believe her- it couldn't be that bad, could it? But he was quiet and almost thankful that Kinkade had left the room. He didn't try to slow the boy down like he likely would have normally, he didn't scold him for his impatience, he just followed behind Gabrielle. Maybe he could just be happy that she had said it was a possible friendship. That was enough, right? Maybe.
Kinkade had slowed down so that he wasn't too far to be reached. He turned around to face Gabrielle when she entered the hallway, walking backwards with a grin at his lips.
"Do you have younger siblings, Gabrielle?
"Kinkade asked. Silas chuckled at the question. But Kins mind went something like this; cafe, food, sweets, kids, young kids, siblings, Gabrielle's siblings. So when he asked his question, it wasn't strictly random.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Gabrielle patted down the pockets of her coat, checking to make sure she had her wallet and pulled out her keys. She waited until Silas was out of the room before she locked the door after him then headed off after Kinkade.
"Do I have siblings?" she said, looking over to him, seemingly surprised at the question. "Oh, yes, I do. A little sister. Not too little though, she's only two years younger than me. If I have any more, I'm unaware of them. Why do you ask?"

Silas && Kinkade and everybody's on your mind saying anything to get you by A younger sister? That seemed interesting- as though it told a bit about her, though it was indirect. Did that mean she was more patient than she let on? Then the question hit him. Why had he asked? He could have tried to explain his logic, but it seemed easier just to refuse the question politely.
"Just curious. Sly misses his sister, but I don't have any siblings. Do you get along with her?
"Kinkade explained. In other words, he couldn't understand why they missed their siblings first hand, but it fascinated him all the same.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

"Oh yes, I get along with her quite well, provided she's awake." Gabrielle said, smiling a little. "My sister is a sort of strange girl. It's best for her not to be near people, even me. It's ah... Complicated. Rest assured, she's a lovely person."
She turned to Silas. "So, you have a sister, prettyboy?"
