In her dreams, Daidamus was always there. Always staring at her. Her cocky attitude sometimes faltered slightly at his presence. His watchless face, his speechless mouth, throat... Everything about the creature made her shiver uncomfortably. Despite all this, she had made her arrangement. Whenever she dreamed, and whenever he was there, she felt the burning of her golden key, deep in her chest. She was aware of the deep thick scar that was cut with precision down her chest between her ribs. She could imagine in her dreams her mother's hands, pushing her lungs aside with those blue plastic gloves to place the key under them. It nearly made her puke. Her dreams were filled with these images, and Secernia knew they always would be.
Never could she imagine a worse way to live life. Never would there be a worse fate than her own. She imagined that while she was sleeping, her eyes would be forever closed, her mouth forever shut. She could hear the voices of the demons, awaiting a child to breathe life into. They waited for their next victim. Secernia wondered sometimes, half-asleep as she came to, if her mother had really meant to kill her with her operation. She was drastically close, wasn't she, she mused.
It didn't matter now though, did it? Her mother was probably dead, her own scalpel to her wrists. Secernia imagined the slashes down the arm with the precision of the one down her chest. The image of the tea cup lying shattered on the floor beside her mother's body. That's what her imagination focused on. It was a typical morning. These thoughts would forever haunt her, but Secernia refused to let herself be affected by them.
After all, she was sure that the last lie she told her mother was honestly a kind of truth. Secernia was not her mother's daughter. Her mother truly had been alone. There was no love there, so she wasn't truly her daughter at all. She refused to feel regret for her actions.
Secernia, after all the morning sweating in the dry summer heat and staring at the ceiling, suddenly sat up in the dorm room and slipped lightly out of her night-dress. Naked, she stepped into the shower room. Afterwards, with wet hair, she dressed quickly into a deep-cut blouse with the back made of a thin lace to show off the tattoo of her demon, and a pair of denim shorts with boots. She grabbed her belt and attached her knife to it. She remembered distinctly when she got that knife, when Daidamus killed those kids at the bus-stop when they threatened her, years ago now. It had been theirs.
They didn't seem to realize that Secernia would always take what she wanted, whether it belonged to her or not. She stepped into the hallways silently, so as to not wake her roommate, Kikime. In this light, she could make out a few people dotting the halls of the dormitory area. She made her way to a vending machine with confidence, prowling the halls and seeing if she could catch any glimpses on her way there. She was hungry for her breakfast, and having no plans for the day, wouldn't mind playing a few games, as usual...

Kikime always did like to watch her roommate as she slept. There was always a trace of unease, something along the lines of nervousness to be seen. The only thing was, you had to look hard to see it. Honestly, it didn't surprise Kikime in the slightest. After all, Secernia was bound to a big monster and a scary one at that. He had made it very clear that he'd punish her severely if Kikime ever decided to mess about with the Bonds that connected him to Secernia. That one meeting had been enough to send a shiver up the girls spine, so she could only imagine what it was like with that thing constantly lurking in ones mind at all times.
Whatever. That monster could stay in the dark. He was interesting but, Secernia was a lot more fun. That's what was important. She was something to keep Kikime's boredom at bay. A toy the black haired girl had to admit, she was having a hard time getting bored with. It was delightful! Just last night, Kikime had avoided being crushed by a heavy piece of gym equipment when she opened the door to the dorm. She'd have to try get her back for that.
She rolled onto her back and stared at the ceiling with a blank gaze, though the gears of her mind were whirring in thought. Her eyes flicked towards the candy bowl she left on the treat-laden table at the other end of the room. She loved to have tea and snack with Secernia there, talking about their latest pranks. Maybe Secernia would like some candy later. Maybe she'd pick out one of the bright colored sweets filled with rat poison.
Or maybe the one with part of a razor inside. It would tear its way down her throat. Secernia would look at her with surprise, point at her and smile as blood dribbled out of her mouth. "You got me!" she'd choke out with a bit of laughter in her voice, and Kikime would smile back and clap her hands. "You fell for it! she'd reply, and they'd both laugh and giggle and drink tea and eat sweets until Secernia bled out to death. It would be wonderful! But, that would mean she'd be gone forever. Hmph. You better not disappoint me. You better be sharp enough to keep yourself alive. I'll never forgive you if you leave me alone to rot in boredom.
Secernia stirred a little. Kikime shut her eyes and pretended to sleep. She lay still, listening as her red haired roommate and partner in crime sat up and made her way her way to the bathroom. The shower sounded off. This was an opportunity not to be wasted. She sat up quietly and looked over at Secernia's bed as she rooted as quietly as she could through her drawer and pulled out a small bag of needles. Kikime busied herself with sticking the needles in under Secernia's pillow case. She's get a nice acupuncture session tonight. Courtesy of Kikime. The shower stopped and Kikime jumped back into bed , clutching the bag of needles in her hand as she curled up under the duvet, nuzzling her own pillow with glee.
Kikime sat up only when Secernia left. "She didn't even try to sneak a candy for breakfast." she sighed as she got out of bed. She went and did the daily morning time hygiene routine before slipping into a black lolita dress. She felt fancy today. Tying up her hair into twintails, she hurried out the door. Finding Secernia didn't take all that long. Summer often meant there was few people left in the halls. And fewer had hair like Secernia. Then again, there might be one hundred people there with red hair but they were boring, and didn't really count.
Her friend was heading towards a vending machine. "Secernia..." she called after her friend, her heels clacking on the floor as she walked towards her. "Candy for breakfast? Tsk tsk, you should have called me. There's nothing i enjoy more to start the day." she said coming to a stop behind her. "Sleep well?"

Secernia paused as she walked down the hall, amidst her prowl, because she heard the clack on the floor of very familiar heels. She glanced over her shoulder at the sound, squinting slightly to make out Kikime there emerging from their dorm room. A very flamboyant black lacy dress was worn by the girl, wearing twin tails to rival sailor moon. Secernia gave a smile at her 'friend'.
"Oh, Kikime! I didn't want to wake you. I hate it when you wake up." She smiled warmly to her. Candy for breakfast was one of Kikime's favorite things, Secernia knew because she wouldn't shut-up about it. Secernia was keen on just getting a nutri-grain and leaving it at that. She was really surprised that Kikime wasn't fat, what with all the sugar and sweets she ate. Then again, Secernia never stopped eating pasta with pesto, homous and grape juice, like a true Grecian. She should be a whale.
So she should have called her. Well as much as she enjoyed Kikime's company, there was the issue that she was a total whore and that Secernia didn't want to have anything to do with her. Even looking at her there in the hallway, Secernia imagined cutting off each of her fingers with which she manipulated the ties that bound, and what her screams might sound like as she did so. Oh, it was beautiful in Secernia's head.
"I had a fine sleep." She said with a smile. In reality, she actually did. She was used to those dreams by now. She considered it a fine sleep whenever she didn't wake up screaming nowadays. She had to appreciate that whenever she did that, it tended to be Kikime's fault, but her little laughs always cheered her up. Probably because Secernia knew it was very similar to the sound she made when in pain. Cheered her up to no end.
"How about yourself? I do hope that the gym equipment wasn't an inconvenience." She grinned, tele-porting as she spoke to just beside her roommate, taking her hand in her own, stealing whatever secret was available to her with a grin, her other hand resting on the handle of her knife.
"Since you're up now though, we can surely get breakfast together, would you agree to my company?" She said easily, words flowing from her mouth like water, as usual, hatred and companionship in her eyes.

"You always are your most cheerful in the morning." Kikime replied coolly, a smile just as pleasant on her face. She looked over at the vending machine. What seemed good for 8:30 in the morning? Ah, pop rocks and a white chocolate bar. That would do until they could get fresh crepes smothered in chocolate sauce, powdered with icing sugar just to finish it all off, later in the cafeteria. Her eyes sparkled just a little at the thought, a hand going to her cheek. But first the light snack.
Raising her hand, she beckoned the treats to come to her with two fingers. Both of her desired items levitated for a moment squeezing out from behind the barrier and dropped down the vending machine. Who needed money? Kikime didn't even bother going to get the treats herself, instead focusing a bit more so they would pull themselves out and flew right to her hands. "Delicious." She said popping some of the crackling candy into her mouth. "Care for some?" she offered Secernia some pop rocks.
She noticed how the other girl looked at her. After all, she often gave her the same looks. One previous third year had asked her was there anything going on between them. If they we're lovers. Kikime had laughed hard, which was out of character for her when outside of Secernia's company. Lovers?! With her?! That easy slut didnt deserve such a thing. Her Demon could do whatever hentai stuff it wanted. That love would be the only sort Kikime would ever allow Secernia to experience. Actually, what they had, Kikime found much more intense and profound: Hatred so intense for one another that it brought them together in friendship.
"Excellent. It was nice not to wake up to your screams." Kikime said taking a bite of her chocolate. "I do get jealous when it['s not caused by one of my pranks." she sighed. Her red eyes narrowed just slightly at the mention of the other nights close call. "Oh, it was no problem for me. But i think that guy from year two is still knocked out in the Infirmary. I think he might be a vegetable now." she rubbed her chin in thought. That was one more thing she'd have to get even for. That was her toy to break. She wanted to see if her candy trick would work on him but no, Secernia got to him first.
She blinked with surprise as Secernia teleported literally, a step in distance, and appeared beside her, grabbing her hand. Kikime tried to whip it away as fast as she could. "He now, no freebies. That spoils all the fun." she scolded her friend. "Besides, im not into PDA's." she sneered before walking ahead of her friend. "By the way, that knife sure is big. Compensating for something Secernia?" she cooed.
"I'd love to join you for breakfast." she nodded enthusiastically, looking over her shoulder at her best frienemy. "And after, i do think i am in the mood to grant some wishes. You know, i heard one of the first years commenting on how they'd just love to be able to fly." she giggled.

Secernia smirked slightly at the idea that she was the most cheerful in the morning. "Well, that's because of my dreams, don't you know..." She said smoothly. She watched her friend put sweets into her mouth with disgust, watching as her mouth opened and closed, teeth grinded against the sugar and preservatives. She could imagine her tongue slimy against the reacting sweets. It repulsed her. The fact that her companion stole the sweets didn't even have Secernia batting an eyelash. She doubted anyone else would have the balls to confront them. At least, if they did they wouldn't for very long.
Secernia glared over to her, and then blinked into a more pleasant expression, "No thank you, I'm fine..." She said. She had learned ages ago to not accept free food from her friend. Anything that the woman had touched had obviously been tampered with to the detriment of her health. It was never a good idea. She reached into the pocket of her denim shorts to pull out a crumpled dollar, and put it in the machine, pressing the number letter combination for a nutri-grain like she had planned.
Secernia had to keep herself from laughing at the results of her prank. "A vegetable? H-he got a brain injury?" Her red-brown eyes gleamed with how exciting that idea was. "Oh wow! I'm honestly impressed. How many bones did it break too?? Brain damage, lucky guy." She smiled. "Should have been you, dear."
At the mention of her knife's length and thickness, Secernia gave a loud surprisingly elegant laugh, "Of course! I'm compensating for my lack of Penis, Kikime." She smiled, "Because I obviously want one, so very much." She said, sarcasm leaking from every syllable. She said the words loudly, and knew that a few of the sparse people in the hall would definitely be able to hear her words. "Perhaps you can have one butchered onto a plate for me?" She joked in a voice perhaps too serious. It was a dare really, more than anything. How dark could Kikime go without being expelled...
"Fly is it?" Secernia ignored her denying her hand. She would get to learn all her secrets later, she was sure... "I believe you can arrange for that.." She smirked.

"Alright if you say so. Don't say i never offered." It had been noted that Secernia had refused her offering of candy. She really has caught on fast. Kikime thought finishing off the rest and letting the package drop to the floor. After all she had done, littering wasn't exactly groundbreaking badassery. She waited patiently for the other girl to get her bar. How sweet of her, she actually paid for it too. Secernia had gotten her good deed for the day out of the way fast.
"I didn't stutter. Yes, a vegetable." Kikime beamed as Secernia seemed overcome with happiness on hearing what happened with her little trap from last night. A sneer pulled across her lips. "You should have seen it. It was hilarious. I escorted him back to the Infirmary. The doctors that came wanted a report. That was annoying. You'll pay for that." she pointed a finger at Secernia. "But back to the details."
"Tell me Secernia, did you know that the human face has 14 bones in total? You made 6 break, most on he right side of his face. His cranium is decimated. The right side of his brain now mush. You also broke his collar bone, but that's the least of his worries i guess." She paused and grinned. "Does he even have worries anymore? Can a veggie worry?" she mused. She chuckled at the last comment. "Oh darling, you know me, I always allow guests in before me. It's only a common courtesy." It was also a great way to avoid these traps. Besides," she scoffed. "Face it, your world would be just to dull without me."
Kikime put a hand to her mouth, her eyes going a little big as Secernia said 'penis', like it was a dirty word. "I always thought being a guy would suit you ~" she retorted, crossing her arms a smile on her face. A few heads had turned their way, staring at them strangely. However, nothing was said to them. It never was. Then came the dare... Oh it had been a while since such a challenge was given to her. "Ohhh you do want one bad." she said, a dark gleam in her eyes. "Perhaps i can. Anything for you. Besides, im sure if i asked, you'd get it for me." her voice was the most serious it had been all morning. "Have you a preference? I do recall a young man you met on Perdu Island. Jim was it? No. James i think you said one night." she commented. "Tell me dear, will it just be the penis you require? Or would you like some sweetbreads with that too?"
The promise of making students fly brought her back to a more playful mood. "Yes." She twirled through the halls in excitement, her dress and pig tails whipping out. "Make them fly. Really high." she looked over at her dear friend. "How ever, some outside ideas for aerial acrobatics is never a bad idea. Or we could see whose faster? You're ability to teleport and bring them back to safety, or, me pulling them down."

Secernia watched her friend let the wrapping of the candy fall to the floor. Yes, Secernia had gotten her good deal out of the way fast. What point had she of doing anything horrible to the vending machine? Why should she risk getting reprimanded by the teachers for stealing? She had low morals, not a low IQ. It was too petty a crime for her anyway, after all. She saved her brainpower for the bigger threats, such as the woman standing beside her.
Secernia laughed at hearing more about the poor soul's unfortunate fate. "I won't pay for anything, Kikime. They won't even remember he belongs at the school and he'll starve in a week, and he certainly won't remember who tied up the gym equipment above the door.. I do take 'pity'" She made quotation marks in the air, "On vegetables. I usually just let them rot in the fridge." She smiled.
"14? No I wasn't aware. How very interesting." She said, a bored tone to her voice as she walked with her friends towards greater breakfasts. Secernia laughed at her friend telling her to face it, and that the world would be dull without her. Secernia had to hand it to Kikime... She was smart enough to keep up with her. It did mean a better life really, because in the end, she had a bit of a nemesis. Life would be boring without a nemesis, and it wasn't as if anyone at this pathetic school stood any chance of competing with her. They'd be dead in a matter of minutes.
"You always thought? Why Kikime, I wasn't aware you thought about this so often." She teased, her eyebrow raised in false surprise. She laughed at the mention of James. "Sweetbreads would be nice, I suppose." She sneered, "Only met the sap once though. It's a lot more fun to torture them first, before leaving them eunuchs. Perhaps we should become his best friends first, fight for his affections, and then sever limbs in a dark room." She nodded, "Atmosphere is important in these things. I like to believe I know how to keep you entertained as well with these things. We might make him a puppet, if it would put a smile on your face,"
Secernia reached out then to try and touch her friends face, yet again slyly seeing if she could pull a secret from her flesh. "A race would be great fun!" Secernia smiled, vanished from sight, and reappeared at the end of the hall. "Faster than light," She called, grinning. "I think I'll win, I'll tell you that much..." She was suddenly at Kikime's side again. There was silence as they walked for a moment, then "You're taking forever. Are we going against a snail or what?" She said, suddenly sounding frustrated and annoyed by Kikime's company, snarling. Secernia's moods were common. She was known to be bored far too easily...

Kikime gave a sneer as Secernia mentioned how the boy and the staff would have their sudden cases of amnesia. A vegetable starving to death. An image of a carrot slowly decaying, shriveling up and turning brown was the first thing that crossed the girls mind. "Interesting." she said thinking more on it. The boy probably had no memories left anyways. She had to admit though, leaving that to chance was just sloppy work. Who knew when some student with revival powers would strut down the halls. A rare possibility, but never impossible. Chance was a bitch.
As Secernia laughed at Kikime's own comment on her friend not being able to cope without her, she shut her eyes and smiled. "You know it's true. I'd never lie to you... much." she said as the walked through the halls. They were getting nearer to a proper meal now. Kikime could smell it. Greasy bacon, sausages, hash browns and eggs were probably sizzling on dirty, over used pans. Cereal's of all sorts would be left out open for all to have. Fruits and breads left out for other students to paw. Disgusting. Though, Lucky Charms didn't sound like a bad choice alongside chocolate milk.
She opened one eye lazily, peering at the red haired girl. "Oh of course I think of it often. I think of you nearly ever second of the day my dear. Every waking hour you are never far from my thoughts. After all, it is only you who would ever think to slip something into my tea and have me wake up on a butchers table somewhere. It is only you, who would hover over with me, your knife poised right at my eye, waiting for me to sit up after slumber and blind me. It is only you, who would teleport from class to push me off a cliff." she explained. She was pretty sure that this train of thought wasn't too far from what Secernia's.
"I won't forget the sweetbreads then," she smiled. "It doesn't matter that you met him once...or at all. It's just easier to select a nice new toy when you have it fresh on your mind. Hmm was his voice deep already? If not, we could have a lovely Castrato on our hands. Make him sing nice, high and sweet lullabies to us every night before bed time ~" she clapped her hands lightly together at the thought. "The three of us friends? Hmm, that could work. Then all we have to do is puncture the third wheel. Over and over and over." She giggled as Secernia kept listing out ideas. "You know me very well. I'd love to have a new puppet to play with."
As Secernia went to touch her face, Kikime replied with twisting her head sharply to face her hand, and went to bite her. Not nip. If she could take a chunk out of her hand, Kikime would be very happy. She shook her head with amusement as she teleported back and forth. "Always in a rush." she said as they entered the cafeteria. "Take it easy. Half the fun is picking out who to play with." she said looking out at the other students who were busy chattering about something like movies or books or music. "It's all about getting the right one."

Secernia suppressed an outward burst of laughter, instead making a sort of unattractive snorting sound. "I'm sorry-- You'd never lie to me, much, I'm sorry... I, Secernia Lambda Grelix, call bullshit. You never are truthful much, now that I would believe..." She grinned and shrugged, "Well, with a little reassurance."
The smell of the food made Secernia's stomach rumble uncomfortably. How quickly and easily it would be, she thought to herself, for her to simply leave Kikime where she was and just appear in the line. She could invision it easily, and she nearly felt herself involuntarily teleport, but resisted the feeling. Kikime would be furious, and when Kikime was furious, she was disorganized, sloppy, and ten times more vicious.
Secernia felt a strong force in her very being, looming against organs as if to say that she could be no match for him. Her chest grew warm at the thought beneath the scar, and she rubbed a little at her collarbone, feeling indigestion. This didn't mix well with her hunger. When Secernia was uncomfortable, she was snappy.
"Really? You think of me every second of every day? Well, I can't pretend not to find that slightly disturbing, but not any more than usual..." She said, a bite in her words. She listened to her descriptions of the various ways in which Secernia had indeed in the pass attempted to murder or severely torture her. Although, Secernia was surprised. She was sure that she had been unconscious during a few of those, but she supposed she was easy enough to be a fair guess as to who did it.
About James, Secernia shrugged, "His voice was broken, and I'm pretty sure he was the type to enjoy having a cock." She said as though another type of man truly existed, "He could sing for us anyway, but I don't think it would be very pleasant. However, it would definitely be hilarious" She said as they made their way into the foodhall.
Then, when Secernia went to touch Kikime's face, her friend's teeth dug themselves deeply into Secernia's hand, leaving marks that just broke the skin. "OH YOU WHORE" She cried, a voice brittle and sharp like a piece of broken glass. But as quickly as Kikime bit her, she went back to having a normal conversation. "I'm going to make you eat every one of your cursed sweets from your own table while you sleep. You'll choke on your own blood, you stupid whore." She said, going to a gleeful little whisper.
Then her stomach rumbled, and she looked down at her abdomen, paused for a moment, then laughed. "Oh Kikime, I'm starving!" She grinned, "I want pancakes."

Kikime raised a brow as Secernia gave a snort. "How unlady like." she prodded at her nemesis. "You always were a class act. Also, ladies never lie..." she added, her index finger in the air, emphasizing the point. She went quiet as she thought over her words. She believed herself to be right. True ladies would never lie. What a shame she wasn't a lady. No, Kikime couldn't consider herself to be something like that. How droll and boring. Having tea time with ladies was boring. She, was a monster, and the best kind of tea time, was having tea with fellow monsters. A thin smile spread on her face as she spared a fleeting glance at Secernia.
Oh thoughts of monsters. Kikime was lost in her little world of dancing demons and tea time and Secernia and the monster that followed after her when her friends stomach growled. The one who protected her. Sometimes, Kikime had to admit, she would like to poke and prod and step just a little over the line and provoke the thing. What would it do? Kiheheheh... would i get a slap on the back of the wrist? Or have my hand pulled off from my wrist? she wondered. Neither bothered her. She was sure the thing underestimated her. Besides, he should know, they both had the same goal: Keep Secernia alive for their own uses.
"I do. What else is there to do in class other than think of jokes to try on you? Outside class, what else is there but to think 'what would i have set up to hurt me if i was Secernia'?" Kikime answered as if such a thing to do was normal. "Im glad it unsettles you. Do i have any chance of unnerving you into paranoia and have you slip up and fall for my pranks?" she asked with a grin, knowing full well the woman before her was made out of tougher stuff.
Before today, Kikime hadnt cared all that uch to hear of James ever again. Now, after their conversation, she was really eager to meet him. It would make an interesting night if Secernia brought him back to the dorms. "Lets have him sing to us." she sighed happily. "He can sing while you have his dick on a plate in font of him. I'll play the violin in the background, there'll be candle light, a light dinner...oh it'll be a lovely time." she giggled.
"Heehee~" Kikime skipped a little ahead as Secernia shouted out profanities. She didn't seem to loose the plot that much. No, she was rather calm. Kikime nearly missed the threat that slipped from her lips. "Death by candy. Strangely fitting. I wouldn't want to go out any other way. Ill leave my scissors to you in my will if your nice to me." she said as they entered the food hall.
"Pancakes... they sound sooo good." kikime agreed. "Also, thinking on pancakes and syrup... do you know if any of the classes here stock acid? I think it would be a wonderful opportunity since theres hardly anyone here during the summer... to gets some and maybe put it in the soap dispensers in the bathrooms." What do you think?"

"It's good to know for a fact then that we aren't ladies." She smirked. She never saw herself as a lady, or much of anything for that matter. Secernia was, perhaps, a Grelix. That was true. Her family line was something that would always define her. As a Grelix, she was definitely one of the 'monsters' which Kikime was thinking about- And her daughters would be monsters, and their daughters...
Although Kikime might silently believe that Daidamus underestimated her, Secernia never felt a real ounce of fear for her life. She knew that if anything came close enough to actually threaten her... She felt the presence of the knife at her side, and remember where that came from. Daidamus would take care of it. He just wanted things to be done with, he wanted his peace, he wanted his park bench. That's all. All else on earth could die, if it meant he got his peace. He was as selfish as Secernia was.
"What else to do in class? Outside of class? Well, you could be a 'good student' and 'study' for 'exams'" She said with emphasis. "There's always that Kikime..." Anyone could tell that she was being sarcastic. Yes, it was entertaining to await for Kikime's next offensive. It was entertaining indeed to have such a deep hatred for someone else, and yet be as close as two peas in a pod... two peas in a pod that wanted to mutilate one another and watch as the spark left their eyes...
"I doubt you have any chance of that. I'm smarter than you. You always simply want to poison, trap, let them take death themselves, of their own choice. How weak. Thankfully my abilities make me your better." She said simply to get Kikime to hate her a little more, "I can do what I like outright, and they won't even remember, they will tell a different story... if they live to tell a story at all..." She shrugged, "Simplicity is elegance."
"Besides, I'm not even that interested in violence, per se. I prefer to watch people live in suffering for as long as possible, regretting forever having met me..." She smiled as they approached the line at the cafeteria. She grabbed a tray and put it on the rack to push along.
She gave a genuine smile when she told her of the plans for the dinner. "That would be lovely!" She grinned, "I don't think I've ever been treated so nice." She laughed lightly.
"If Im nice to you? Oh, I'm taking the scissors anyway, Kikime, no need to worry about their fate." She smiled, nodding to the lunch ladies as they picked up various breakfast foods up with elongated forks. "And to answer your question, Kikime, yes, I do believe the science halls have acid, or at least ingredients for a home brew." She nodded.
Finally she saw the lunch lady reached the pancakes and prod a good four or five of them onto her plate, then pick up the maple syrup and drizzle it on top. "I think it's a good idea," She said firmly, eyes watching the pancakes. "Next year, when the semester starts, imagine all the poor saps who have become amputees..." She smiled, taking the plate now fully filled with breakfast foods, and grabbed a small carton of grape juice. Secernia loved grape juice.

"Study for my exams hm?" she half laughed at the very thought. "I suppose that tip comes from your very own life practices??" she asked. Kikime had played the role of a devout, good little girl a long time ago. It had been boring to say the least. After a rush of jealousy a whole new world had opened up to her. However, stepping through the door to that world had meant shutting the 'good girl' door behind her forever. Not that it bothered her. Kikime wouldn't change her lifestyle for the world.
Kikime cocked her head to one side as Secernia gave her little lecture. She gave a scoff and shook her head. "Silly silly Secernia ~ It's not that im not as smart as you. I'm just more...dramatic." she waved a hand in the air, happy with the word chosen to describe her work. "I like setting up a stage and i like giving my characters a little free will. However don't mistake my methods." she chuckled. "If i want them dead, by the end of my show they'll be dead, be it how i planned or not. And poison is a classic! Don't underestimate it." she tutted, wagging her finger ta Secernia. "You little memory trick makes it so easy. It is much more fun when you're in on the joke. I feel i can really...let loose and..express myself a little more." she sighed happily. "You can have your simplicity Secernia, but I will always keep my creativity."
"Not interested in violence?" Kikime asked, following suite and picking up a tray. "What about that 'Little Breeze'? You've gotten into a scrap with him before have you not? If i were you, i'd fight him so he'd be too scared to even think about me again." she sighed happily. "Tear t his arms, his legs. Tear out his guts. Snap his spinal cord. Knock him down to size." she mused as she imagined 101 different ways to cripple someone. A student ahead of them looked at them oddly and quickly shuffled ahead.
"Hey! What if i wanted to be buried with them? You'd refuse a dying friend her last wish?" she asked.Of course she would. After all, Kikime herself would do the exact same. She had three pancakes loaded up on her plate and drowned them in syrup, and laced them with a thick layer of sugar. "Fantastic! We can work on that today. The only tricky part will be getting containers that wont sizzle. Hey! Think about it. Everyone who washes their hands will have the filth and bacteria burnt all away ~ If we were to hang around outside we'd know who washes their hands, and who does not."
"I do miss when we can't do these fun little projects together." she commented. "This will be a great way to start a new year. I can't wait to see them struggle. At least... i hope they do. It would suck to have all that work done and it doesn't effect them any." She reached for a carton of chocolate milk, pulling a face when she saw the grape juice. "Again with grape? Honestly, don't you ever get bored of that stuff? You must love it an awful lot... Maybe ill knock you unconscious one night and toss you into a pool of grape juice to drown in." she lead the way to a free table.

Secernia laughed, "Of course I speak from experience. Don't I just shout 'goody two shoes' to you?" She asked with a raised brow, bringing her tray to the table. Well, studying for exams seemed to really be all they really did. Especially considering that their exams were focused on their skills fighting and making themselves useful in combat. When it comes to taking someone down, these two seemed very good at it. They had a... tactical mind?
"More Dramatic you say?" Secernia grinned, hardly believing a word. Secernia lived for drama. It was like a soap opera in real life... at least that's what she always tried to do, what with ruining relationships and watching people cry at their dead lovers. "That is something I enjoy about your work..." Secernia admitted, while slicing at the syrupy pancake with the plastic knife, sticking her fork into it. "You do know how to put on a show..." She glanced over to Kikime, the little princess. "But poison is still weak." She said, after swallowing her bit of pancake. "You can keep your creativity. I'll keep my elegance. It sounds like a plan."
Secernia shook her head at the mention of the 'little breeze'. "No, I never got into a scrap with him. A simple introduction was all... You know I give a very lovely first impression..." She said with a smidgen of pride. "But if I think it would be fun, I may do that indeed. He's a bit of a pest, that one. He likes to just watch people, creeper. Did you know his girlfriend was killed by cultists? Handshakes do say a lot about a person," She laughed, "I'm sure it's a very funny story. Just waiting to use that properly against him though... Perhaps we could get, I don't know... A Demon around here... remind him of his troubles..." She laughed, once again feeling the silent lurking of Daidamus within her. It would be the easiest prank. Pretend that it was all her fault that she died. Pretend Daidamus was the one they summoned. Oh how hilarious.
Secernia shrugged, "Of course I'd refuse you your last request. I want you in hell, don't I?" She smiled warmly. "Perhaps we could line the container with the sort of lining in a stomach..." She looked around for someone in the cafeteria that perhaps ate a very healthy breakfast. They needed a specimen that didn't suffer from acid reflux. The stomach lining needed to be strong enough to withstand it.
She laughed at the idea of those who didn't wash their hands. "Their own lack of hygiene would mean they escape with their limbs." She chuckled, "Well, if we're waiting outside, that doesn't have to be the case. Fate is fickle.." She suggested.
"I do hate the year as well. We have to be so much more careful, so many more people watching... Oh but there are the newbies..." She smiled over to Kikime before taking a sip of the grape juice. "They are always a hoot" She said, thinking of all the times that they had screwed over first years. Less people die during the year though, and it's harder to keep things hidden, because after a few weeks, their memories reappear and sort themselves out... About the grape juice she simply replied, "Have you ever been to Greece?"
