History:
Michelle started her life pretty basically. Just a kid with two loving parents, a home and all that such, but she was partially blind. What she COULD see was only mildly blurry, so she could at least tell what someone looked like but she was never able to determine patterns. Her mother taught her at home because she never liked the public school system for their lack of a proper curriculum. She grew up a very smart girl... till she found an old bottle in her father's cabinet labeled "Miracle Elixer: A cure for all that ails you!". She thought about how she longed for the ability to see clearly. The only mistake she made was that she didn't read what it was composed of, "99% Laudanum and 1% Swamp Gas".
She took a swig of the "Elixer" and she set it down with a violent quiver from the bitter taste. She paused and looked about as things began changing colours in a drastic form. She felt herself become light as a feather one moment then the next it felt like a thousand pounds were placed on her shoulders. She stood still and tried to be as calm as possible for a 12 year old watching a giant grub worm eating a bed.
She didn't hold her composure for long. She fell to the ground in a raving tantrum. Her Mother and Father just thought she had Delusions from a head cold, and treated her as such. A few days later she took another drink of her Father's "Miracle Elixer" Because she didn't see her eyesight clear up. After another drink of the bitter concoction she had another violent fit. Her Parents began to think her very ill, once she starting saying her raving sights. Beds turning into giant creatures and munching the walls, her hand mirror turning into a bird and flying out the window, when really in her raving state she tossed it out of fear.
After about a month of her ravings and her drinking "Miracle Elixer" she began constantly feeling sickly, and seeing things and hearing them even when she didn't drink the Juice. Her Parents took her to the doctors multiple times, but all they told them was that she had hit a mental roadblock and it destroyed her mental state. They were so saddened that their beautiful daughter just lost her mind. They regrettably sent her to an asylum. She was finally released after almost 5 years, deemed "Stable" enough to be with others, but still noting that she would always carry about a toaster named "Timothy".
Her Father thought the De Leon islands were a "Special" sort of school in the sense that Children with mental deficiencies were sent there, not "Special" as in people with Powers.
