Sidra followed through the insides of the poster person. From his mouth down, back up agian and repeat. The thin cloth gown felt cold and slightly like paper. Her back was completely exposed, she could feel the air conducting easily. She looked around the room, it smelt serrile, like alcohol wipes and lenolium. Sidra gave a pouting face and twitched about on the bed.
"hey! HEYYYY!" she hollared. "isnt some one supposed to take my bolood, give me chemo? Put that florecent stuff in so y'all can see my brain??" she could feel the nurse roll her eyes at her and Sid stuck out her tounge childishly. "Derps" she mumbled.
She puffed out her cheeks and slouched forward the thin gown falling forward a bit exposing her skin. "dupededoopdalalalalalaaa" she sang making up music to pass the time. "jake works here sometimes...hmmm, I wonder why it's been so buzzy though..." she mumbled to herself. She took in a deep breath and let it out shaky, it did hurt. And he wasn't there...fuck
After what it felt like an eon of waiting, nobody came. It was clear the infermary people thought she was a pain in the ass. Also because she had been stuck there for a few days. They wanted to keep her away from jubil, and she wasn't aloud to use her powers. Both for some reason made the tumor grow and Sid would always black out or her whole body would just shut down. But for some strange reason she would recover quickly. Maybe it had to do with that blue haired person...
She stared down at the lenolium flooring as her mind now went on a rampage of thoughts. Each one more racing than the last. She was stuck thinking about things she didn't alow her self time before. How jubil would be completely alone now, how she still hadent told him of thier granddad's passing, how it was a freak accadent... She was being selfish, she thought, jubil needed to know, he was a big boy? A teenager, he could handle it. Sidra's stomach sank, he'll destroy everything, everyone will die.... Sidra frouned, the fact that she just thought that about her own brother broke her heart.
She had been holding on to the sheets with a death grip. She couldn't tell, everything was just pressure and prickles. She pulled her fist up to inspect how her body could react with out her ever really being aware of it. Her vision went blurry and she gave a sniffle. When had she started crying? She herd the tear drops plop on the paper cloth gown. "shit" she whimpered before pulling the thin white fabric over her, curling up in a tight ball and weaping quietly. She didn't want to alarm or worry anyone, so she covered her mouth sealing in her gasps.

"Hey, Wrench Wench..."
Rust had been passing by the Infirmary, checking around to see if any medical records had been discovered that linked Secernia or Kikime to them. He honeslty hadn't been in the mood to talk to any of the others, Gabrielle, Ace, Jacob, that Creda chick, nobody. His head was still six ways of messed up, no idea of what was right or wrong. After their search for Alora had turned pear shaped, the mechanic had busied himself in studying demonology, trying to find out whatever it was that was sealed inside the red headed girl. To do that, he needed patient data.
And that's where he found Sidra.
All thoughts of the red head were forgotten as the Brit saw the girl start to cry in a ball on the bed. He walked in, slowly shutting the door behind him and greeted her.
If and when she looked up, he'd offer her a small smile.
"What's up? You get hurt recently?"
He stayed back, not wanting to make her cry more b close contact, but stayed at the edge of her bedside.
She was a friend. He had to find out what was wrong.
"Where's Tall, Dark And Grumpy? You two are normally joined at the hip."

Sidra's stomach dropped, like she had just swallowed an anchor. Fuck the infermary! She could be locked in there the whole time never see anybody when she was ok for the moment...the thought rant stopped there. She unwinded, and sat up. Her eyes, nose and lips were red and swolen from the crying.
She didn't speak or look at him for a long time. The white bed sheet draped over her head, poring down her back. "I'm not...in not hurt.." she said slightly strained but trying to sound cheerful. Sidra have him a big grin but it soon faded. Her eyes searched frantically too look at something but only found his face. She gave a smile.
"it's nothing you should be worried about" she smiled "Jubil. Is around some where, he's probably at the cafiteeriea if your looking for him" She started staring at his feet. Her stomach gave a wrench and she quickly lost her forced smile.
She sucked in a breath " So! How are you doing mr British?" she asked pushing her self in to a more comphortable pose. Or atleast it looked more more comphortable....she didn't want to bring up that girl...she couldn't bring up her illness...
"how have you been? Are you ok?"

Rust just waited as Sidra looked down, looking concerned. This...wasn't like the usually exuberant mechanic. Last time they met she had been smiling and laughing throughout, despite her grumpy brother. Silence did not suit the girl and it was all Rust could do not to speak just to break the awful awkward silence.
And then she spoke.
"You're not? Then...why are you in the Infirmary? And how come you're wearing th-"
He stopped, shutting up instantly. This wasn't right. He couldn't just up and ask what was wrong. That was as invasive as a surgeon's knife. No, he had to be patient. Something was troubling his friend and despite her tone, it seemed serious. Her big grin fading away proved that, even the sincere smile at the end.
"Sid, saying it's something I shouldn't be worried about is going to make me worry about it, you know..." he gently reprimanded with a smile. "And I was literally just passing by after some...information. I think your brother can take care of himself for a while, solo."
He just sat and watched as Sidra again tried to cheer herself up, staring at his feet. If he were feeling sarcastic, he probably would have commented upon that, but it didn't seem right somehow, the mood seemed too...grim? Too clinical for jokes like that.
A sinking feeling started in his stomach.
"I've...I've been better, to be honest." he tried to grin, but feeling sick on the inside. "My mind's been screwed over recently more times than a hardware store. I don't know what's what any more, whether Secernia is my girlfriend or my torturer or if my friends can be trusted...I just don't know."
He sighed, then faced her again.
"Sid...what's up? Really?"

Sidra looked up at him, her eyebrows knitted together. That was awful, she knew as good as anyone what it was like to not recall something, not be able to distinguish something. For some reason the other day she got a thought in her head that she was actually a character on a web sight rp called Solstice. But that's crazy right?
That girl, Jubil had a run in with her,"She chased him down..." she mumbled thinking it was all in her head. Jubil was teleported to a place he couldn't get out of...He told her how blood thirsty she was, How "She wanted to fight him so bad, but the faceless man just ran away from Jubil".
Sidra's gaze was off looking at one of the walls, her mind kept thinking about that. But then Rust asked a direct question. Sid........What's up? Really? She blinked at him slowly and then tilted her head to the right. "im...um..." she looked down furrowing her eyebrows. "d--" the word cut off, she covered her eyes with her hand, pushing back the tears. She forced her self to laugh.
"Dieing...." she laughed out more, hysterical now. "Ju-Jubil is killing me...and they've taken it out...they've healed it away, but it grows back. HEHAHAA...it just comes back..." she didn't know if she was crying or laughing now. But her hand still covered over her face.

Rust just blinked as Sid brought up Secernia.
"Wait, she chased someone down? But she's harmless and non confrontational..." he wondered aloud, brows furrowed in confusion. "She only fought me because I hit her across the mouth...I mean, she insulted my family...or do I...fuck I don't know..."
Clapping a hand to his forehead, Rust tried to re-organise his thoughts, his mind still swirling like water whirling around a drain. But then Sidra spoke again and his hand dropped as the Brit stared at her.
Oh Jesus...Oh Holy Christ...
She...she was dying. He didn't even hear the bit about Jubil, too focused on the other part of her sentence.
...and they've taken it out...they've healed it away, but it grows back. HEHAHAA...it just comes back...
There was only one disease Rust knew that did that. Wordlessly, without even remembering his strict no contact with crying women rule in order not to exacerbate the matter, the mechanic strode over and embraced Sidra.
He couldn't say it was going to be okay.
He couldn't say anything.
All he could do was hug her close as she wept.
And he'd never felt more useless.

Sid could feel the almost overwhelming pressure of his body wraping about her. She dugg her face in to his arm, tugging at his sleaves with her tiny hands. After a few long moments Sidra was able to pull her self back. She gave a sniffle, her eyes opening as much as they could despite the swelling.
For a moment she was staring out the door of the infermary. Yes the one that was shut, as a girl typing down her existance. Why couldn't she make her better? She was a winter in this place among others....Sidra was clearly going crazy.
Sidra shifted back to rust, and squeezed him tightly, "thankyou" she mumbled, her voice small and still clearly up set. They seemed to stay completely motionless for what seemed like hours. It was a strange thing, to be comphorted. "it's Ok now..." she mumbled to him but still keeping a tight grip on his jacket.
She pulled away slightly and gave a soft smile, "I'm....I'm ok" she nodded. " we'll right now, I mostly cohesive, no black outs, no loss control over my body" she nodded and the patted his for head. "youve been broken too" she said to him. Sidra's eyebrows knitted togeather,"do you wish to fix it?" she asked him, offering up a wish for him.

"It's..."
He still couldn't say it was okay. It didn't seem right at all. The tiny girl felt so small and vunerable in his arms and his helplessness grew tenfold. This young and with something as serious as this...it...it didn't seem fair.
Then, he manned up.
"I'm here, Sid. Let it out, girl." he comforted, patting her hair gently, letting the poor girl cry herself out. Her own hug seemed to be as tight as she possibly could and no more words were said for a while as Sidra calmed down.
"Are you sure?" he asked, slowly softening his hold, but not completely yet. "Alright..."
He listened to her, trying not to show how deeply it hurt to see his friend like this.
"Well, that's some good news at least..." he weakly added, feeling stupid for saying something like that in response to her saying no blackouts.
Her offer though...
He looked her dead in the eyes, The Brit staring, slightly open mouthed.
"You can do wishes...I forgot..." he mumbled, thinking it over.
It was true. He was broken. His mind was nearly shattered by what had happened. Sid could fix it all. But this girl...
He couldn't force her to do something as major as that. He had no idea if it forced that much strain on Sidra.
So instead of wanting that...
"Could...could you give me info on...how to beat Secernia?" he asked instead, looking down, ashamed. Because what if she actually WAS his girlfriend and these other memories were false? He just didn't know. "It...It'd be easier on you and..."

Sidra looked at him with a worrisome face. She patted his head smoothing down his wurrly dark hair. She tried to give him a comforting smile, she could do it. Possibly...It was a simple wish, was it a wish? Sidra didnt think so and she gave a sigh, patting his head once more.
"You need to re-phrase it, i can't just have information on me unless if someone wishes for it..." she gave a shrug "I'm fairly useless like that" she laughed. She looked down, noticing that her hands were still clamped around parts of his jacket. She slowly let go of him, confused, she thought that she already had.
She looked at him, knowing that he was still in distress over what may or may not be real. "Reality is a funny thing you know, there is the reality that everyone preceves simmallarly, and then your own that you don't know what to do." she gave a shrug "who do you trust more, with out thinking about anything, about the girl about your friends. who do you trust completely, and then follow them if you dont know" she shrugged.
She didnt know what else to tell him, she knew she wasn't very smart, and that its hard to beleve something when you know know left from right and up from down. she just tried to give him a grin through her swollen face.
Sidra didn't know what to do anymore either. She wanted to just lay down and cry, but she couldn't not when other people needed help, not when other people worried so much. Mattered so much...

Rust nodded along, trying to think of the best way to phrase his wish. He needed that information...but what if it was wrong? What if it was SECERNIA telling the truth and these false images were really part of a concussion or even worse, implanted by someone else? Would he waste a wish on that? Cause Sidra discomfort by wasting it like that?
Instead, he was brought back down by the talk of reality.
"Who do I trust completely...?" the Brit said. Without thinking of anybody else. Well, he couldn't trust himself, that was for damn sure. Not with his current mental state.
Then who?
He looked down at the scared girl in front of him. No...he couldn't. She knew Secernia, so that left her out...
"That's just the thing... I don't know, Sid." he muttered, looking down. "I don't know who I can trust in this. My mind's screaming at me from both ends, trying to tell me what's right and what's wrong."
He sucked in a breath, then looked up. He wasn't sure about who he could trust, but had made a decision. If he only had one wish worth, he'd make it count.
Rust looked Sidra dead in the eye, trying to look determined, but his eyes looked scared and somewhat yearning for what he said next.
"I wish... you were 100% healthy."

Sidra sucked in a breath, as she everything started to shift back in to its proper place, But the damage done to her phycie was still there and she could still recognize the signs of being in an rp game. She squinted at him, this would possibly be permanent, but she was still unsure about the tumor.
Sidra gave a wide grin at him. "Lovely!" she said, her normal perkiness back in her, "now i can grant you more wishes, you have four left, please be wise about them" she nodded. She gave a frown and then pulled him till he was sitting on the bed.
Rust looked to her like he was about to pass out from the possible confusion in his head. "Hey--Rust. Calm down" she wrapped her arms back around his neck embracing his head. "Everything will be ok, you know?" she said patting his head the best she could with her tiny body.
Some how from the way she pulled him in she was able to pet his head and rest her chin up in his hair. "What do you want me to do, how can i make you better, you've made me better..." she cooed to him much in the way she would to Jubil.

Rust just blinked, taken aback by the extreme shift in personality Sidra went through. It was like all the troubles of the world had suddenly vanished for her and she was a completely different person.
Was...was that a false memory too, or...?
Looking away slightly, he shook his head. No, he could be certain THAT happened.
Four wishes left. And he had just cured some girl's brain cancer. Had no one SERIOUSLY considered wishing her healthy like that?! The rat bastards! They must have known and if it had been just one wish, okay, maybe Rust would have understood. But when you have FIVE?!
Did no one even think about doing it that way? She was dying!
Trying to calm down and not scare Sidra, Rust tried to to look at the blue wisps of energy gathering and dispersing over his shoulder before they disappeared entirely. Sidra's hug had totally come out of the left field as she embraced his head, momentarily making the mechanic forget about his building rage.
Yeah...yeah she's right... he thought after a while, not moving despite the odd positioning. She can make everything okay...
Why did that idea sound so wrong to him? Sidra could literally make EVERYTHING right with the world. And he wasn't taking it! WHY?!
The answer came to him as he sat up again.
"...you're not just a magic lamp." he mumbled. "You're my friend. Not just some wish making machine."

Sidra gave quietly smiled at him. "Well i have no free will over it, if i hear some one say 'I wish' then poof they get it....So technically i am a wishing machine" she shrugged letting go of him. She looked him dead in the eye.
"Despite this, i can help you, why arn't you taking it?" she asked him, she was used to people mindlessly accepting the wishes, often completely waiting them all. "You have self controll, i know that you wont go crazy like some people have..You've made me better" For Now... she pushed that thought in to the back of her mind. "Let me make you better" she pleaded.
Her eyebrows knitted up as she touched his face. "But if you don't want it, i wont force you" she nodded. "ok, you can just talk to me if that will make you feel better, do what ever you think will make you feel better" she smiled sweetly, almost in a weird way motheringly.

Self-control?
No.
No.
He pulled away slightly.
"If there's one thing I don't have, it's that, Sidra." Rust muttered, holding his head in one hand as the conflicting memories fired up once more. "I've gone crazy over the slightest things before. I...I can't alright? Not until I've gotten everything sorted out. I tried to make you better because it should be obvious that that;s what I should have wished for out of common goddamn decency, but...but..."
With a groan of frustration, he buried his head in his hands. This was stupid, why was he complaining? Sidra had momentarily had a BRAIN TUMOUR and he was pissing about due to just some mind screwage? He was acting like a goddamn kid!
Sid's hand on his face made him freeze.
"Talking about it..." he slowly said, seemingly staring off into space.

She looked over his face, he was lost and it only made her want to help him more. "tell me then, all of the times you have lost control" she stated her voice clear like the chime of a bell. "a time where you lost control and your instincts weren't screaming at you to Fight, to survive."
She picked the hair out of his face. "can you remember? Don't think too heard on it, just breath and give me the clearest memory of it. " her lips perced togeather. A thought accrued to her.
His memory, what was that called when a person recalls something differently than how it actually happend due to extreme stress. Maybe he couldn't recall, couldn't talk about it. "Rust, if you can't to that, then can you give me one absolute fact about your self, something you will never second guess your self about? "
She could feel the pressure forming in the back of her head....

Rust was silent for a while before he finally spoke. It wasn't a loud and confident declaration, but rather a small quiet confession.
"My name's Rusty Kekise...I'm a mechanic. I like to fix things. Make them work better..." he said, looking right at Sid's face. "That's...that's for damn certain. I want to be the best person I can be and fix things. Lots of things. Not just metal stuff...but people too."
He trailed off, unsure as to how to continue after that. Looking dead ahead at Sidra, he nodded, as if to confirm his statement.
"Yeah...that's what I want to believe."

Sidra looked back at him, never missing eye contact with him. She gave a slow nod. "A person who wants to be a good person and fix things does have self control, they have patience and a good heart...." she said slowly patiently.
"So why is it that you think you have no self control?" she asked him, she pulled away slightly. "just keep talking to me...ok?" she nodded to him. She was unsure of what he would say, or if he would say anything.
Sidra just wanted to help him, despite her own emotional-phycological trauma that she had been going through....Never the less, they seemed to genuinely want to help one another like proper people. She gave a smile and patted his head. "Or we don't have to, it's your choice"

Wordlessly, the Astral Arm appeared behind Rust, a whisper in the air the only signal to it's arrival. The demonic looking blue fist curled slightly before relaxing and just hovering in the air above Rust's right shoulder.
"This thing." he muttered, wondering why he was allowing sidra to basically play with his face. "It's gotten me into all kinds of trouble. Beating on Secernia, lashing out at people when I'm upset, I'm just lucky it hasn't groped anyone yet."
Groaning, the mechanic desummoned the Arm. A sort of recersed sound to the whisper of air rang through their ears as it left existence.
"I just need to know...I don't want to become my Dad, but with powers..."
Then he realised what was going on.
"Sid. Why the hell are you turning this back onto me? You're the one in the hospital gown. You're the one who was crying not ten minutes ago..."
He trailed off. He'd been doing that a lot recently.

At this point Sidra was pulling apart his face cheeks and smuching them back together. She watched the astral arm appear and dissapear, and she snickered when he said that it was waiting for it to groap someone.
"well how does it work?? off of your base instincts---" she quickly shut up and looked at him. Her mouth buttoned down and she looked away from him. She twiddled her hair between her fingers, thinking on a way to get back around that topic.
"Well im better now" she half lied, knowing that with a few more wishes she would have been back to her previous state. She scratched the back of her head. "so...you don't have to worry" she mumbled.

Rust couldn't help but laugh as Sidra started to smoosh his face, clearly lampshading how much she was actually doing to his facial features. The diminutive little scamp was way too good at bringing out smiles. The fellow mechanic just shook his head out of her grip with a grin.
"Oi, no messing up the goods." he joked quietly, before seeing her face drop.
Ah. May have been a bad idea to bring that up...
"...Okay. I'll...believe you on this one." Rust nodded slightly, looking a little more sure of himself. "And truth to be told? I honestly have no idea how it works. Sometimes I mentally control it, others, it does it's own thing. It just decides as and wehn it wants to control itself for a change, I dunno..."

Sid looked up at him, biting her lips down when he said that he would believe her on this one... She furrowed her eyebrows together. She knew that she needed to actually talk about what was going down, but she couldn't bring her self to it. Not Yet she thought.
She blinked at him when he started to talk about the astral arm. She gave a shrug "well, its connected to you...so you must have some part in the way it acts. Even if you arn't conscious of it right?" she asked looking back at him and tilting her head to the side.
She looked at the door and then back at him and gave a sigh, Like she was about to do something she really didn't want. Then out of nowhere, She smacked him hard across the face.

"I guess...but I dunno, Sid. It hurts my head just trying tp think about it and the last thing I need right now is my head hurting even more, know what I mean?" The Brit asked glumly.
He rubbed his forehead a little, mental battle still raging within.
Gah...if only I could thin-!
*SMACK*
The Astral Arm reacted immediately reaching out, fingers outstretched, ready to grab Sidra's head and squeeze until it was bloody pulp. It would not be st-
"GHRK!"
Clutching his head with one hand and the wrist of the AA with another, Rust fought down the Arm's struggles with difficulty, breathing hard and fast until the ghostly apparition appeared to fizzle away into nothingness, blue wisps over Rust's shoulders' being the only indicator of it's presence before.
"....mind explaining THAT?!"

Sidra blinked at him, almost in a stupid way. "Well, I was causing you bodily harm..." she said in an overly blunt manner. She gave a nod and looked at him and then gave a shrug. "I wanted to try something, i don't have a proven hypothesis at all, but i do have an inkling..." she said, and then she realized how she possibly sounded and then gave a laugh. it was almost nervous.
".....Yeah, the hypothesis is where its gone through tests right? im not too good at the whole sciencie thingy.." she caught her self, and gave him an overly big grin.
"if it hurts your brain too much then we don't have to talk about anything, we can talk about nothing or we can say nothing if that would make you feel more at peace." she said to him before letting out a huff and laying back down, looking up at the ceiling. "how come everywhere has those terrible foam squares...even the dorm rooms, they all look like office buildings." she remarked.
